Recycling Program Manager (Water Resources)

JOB INFORMATION

Only current City of San Diego employees are eligible to apply for the transfer list.

An employee may transfer only to jobs which are paid the same or less at E step than the E step of the employee's present job. Refer to Index Code E-7 for information and eligibility requirements.

You must meet the current minimum requirements for the job. You may be required to present additional information to determine your eligibility to transfer to a different job.

If approved, your name will remain on the transfer list for one (1) year UNLESS there is a change in your eligibility for transfer. Should you leave city service, you will no longer be eligible for appointment from the transfer list. If you have any changes in employment status, you may be removed from all transfer lists and must reapply.

Eligible City employees initially hired or assuming office on or after July 10, 2021, with the exception of Police Recruits participating in the City's Police Academy, will participate in the City's Defined Benefit Plan administered by the San Diego City Employees' Retirement System (SDCERS).

Benefits may change due to employer-employee contract negotiations.
