Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Regional Business Development Manager to add to their growing team. Our client is seeking an individual who is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying potential customers, and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the field erected welded steel tank construction & maintenance industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other industry professionals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
- Attending industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and progress towards targets.
- Monitor and report on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Assist Sales Engineers with follow-up on existing opportunities.
- Review industry reports to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the field erected welded steel tank construction industry or other related industrial fields such as Oil/Gas, Terminal, Pulp & Paper, Water, Wastewater, or other related industries that have a need for welded steel tanks.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer needs in the industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel by air/automobile and overnight as needed. Travel expected to be 50%-70%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, documentation and writing skills.
- Ability to deliver presentations effectively
- Self-driven and motivated
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC card and work legally in the United States.
