About
Do you love to make a difference in the lives of people who experience developmental disabilities? Wall Residences is seeking a Developmental Disability Services Program Manager for Gloucester, Virginia and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- The ability to develop supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff as well as with individuals who receive services and their families
- The ability to multitask and prioritize, along with excellent communication and time management skills in order to manage a caseload of Sponsored Residential and Hybrid Group Homes.
- Knowledge of Licensure/Medicaid requirements and best practices in compliance and ability to review and assess the quality of the service.
Qualifications
- Experience in Person-Centered Service Development with a Clinical background, as well as excellent teamwork and critical thinking skills desired.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is required.
- At least one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities (DD) and two years’ experience supervising employees is preferred.
- Internet access required and space for home office.
- Employees are mandated reporters of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities.
- Hiring is dependent upon excellent references, an active driver’s license with a good driving record, and a criminal background check with acceptable results.
