REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGER

General Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of FTTH, RAN, and Microwave projects within the Abuja region, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements. The role manages field teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors, while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. It also involves tracking project milestones, preparing periodic progress reports, enforcing QA/QC and EHS compliance, managing risks and escalations, and optimizing the use of regional resources across multiple sites for efficient performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end execution of FTTH, RAN, and Microwave projects within the Abuja region
• Manage and coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors
• Ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements
• Interface with customers, vendors, and internal project teams for seamless execution
• Track project milestones and submit weekly/monthly progress reports
• Ensure strict compliance with QA/QC and EHS standards
• Manage risks, escalations, and issue resolution with closed-loop follow-up
• Control regional resources across multiple sites for optimal performance

Job Requirements:

• Engineering experience in FTTH, RAN, and Microwave projects
• Strong project management and team leadership experience
• Excellent coordination and organizational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Proficiency in documentation (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work under pressure
• Prior telecom project management experience is an added advantage
