Regional Project Manager - Projects & Property Development - Retail - UAE

As Regional Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering property projects on time, to budget and to the required standard, specifically managing suppliers and fit‑out contractors, ensuring proposals, plans, layouts and finished property meet the requirements of the designers and brand.

You will also oversee the project teams to maintain the store opening schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all store development projects are performed within budget, timeframe and quality standards.
  • Establishing and reviewing preventative and routine maintenance contracts.
  • Compiling periodic reports on refurbishment programs and analyzing shop‑fitting costs and implementations in order to improve costs.
  • Approving payments to suppliers and contractors and submitting relevant quotations to senior management for approval purposes.
  • Reviewing proposed layouts and requirements with brand managers and advising on deliverables.
  • Maintaining and distributing store opening schedules for distribution within the business.
  • Liaising with host brands and their designers to maintain brand standards and requirements within the MH Alshaya portfolio.

Qualifications & Requirements

You will have

  • A bachelor's degree in an engineering subject (preferably architecture) from an accredited university.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ retail fit‑out experience.
  • A total of 5 years’ experience in architectural and interior designing and site supervision.
  • Professional body membership.
  • Knowledge of, and/or previous experience with, local relevant processes and procedures (landlords, municipalities, civil defense, food control, drainage, etc.) is an advantage.
