Core Responsibilities

As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business, onboarding clients and growing existing relationships, including:

  • Achieving growth targets and securing new clients within the assigned territory
  • Expanding existing accounts while developing new markets
  • Communicating the company’s value proposition to prospects and key influencers
  • Managing territory activity effectively, including timely and accurate Salesforce reporting
  • Partnering with sales, engineering, marketing and inside sales to support business development and onboarding
  • Leveraging product knowledge to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Applying pricing strategies to support profitability
  • Working closely with technical service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Representing the company in the market, building relationships and attending key industry events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar sales role
  • Experience within industrial equipment, packaging or distribution is important
  • Strong new business development capabilities balanced with proven account management skills
  • Understanding of a systems selling model (machinery, consumables, technical service and parts)
