We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Technical Manager to oversee the electrical operations, maintenance, and projects across multiple facilities Duties & Responsibilities

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• GCC Factories - Electrical

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEng, etc.)

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in facilities management, and project management across multiple sites.

• Proven experience managing electrical systems in large-scale projects, such as hospitals, industrial plants, or commercial buildings.

• Hands-on experience in managing electrical installations, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.

• Extensive experience in managing teams, vendors, and contractors in a multi-site environment.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the GCC region (e.g., IEC, NFPA, local building codes).

Key Responsibilities

• Regional Technical Oversight:

• Manage and provide technical leadership for electrical systems across multiple factories and facilities within the GCC region.

• Ensure all electrical operations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

• Develop, implement, and enforce preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency.

• Project Management:

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion (e.g., hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial projects).

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of projects.

• Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or operational challenges that arise during the course of the project.

• Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians across the region.

• Provide technical training and ensure continuous professional development for team members.

• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the engineering teams.

• Facility and Asset Management:

• Oversee the maintenance of electrical systems and assets, including power distribution, lighting systems, backup generators, HVAC systems, and any other critical infrastructure.

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and the implementation of safety protocols in all facilities.

• Analyze electrical system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

• Budgeting and Reporting:

• Develop and manage the budget for electrical operations and projects across the region.

• Prepare and present regular reports on the performance of electrical systems, project status, and other key metrics to senior management.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high operational standards.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Work closely with the regional operations and facilities teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems and services.

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
