Reinsurance Performance & Planning Analyst

Your role

We are looking for a Reinsurance Performance & Planning Analyst to support the controlling, reporting and planning of Allianz Trade's reinsurance performance . In this international role, you will work closely with Group Finance, Allianz Re, local entities and senior management, contributing to the financial steering of reinsurance programs and captive structures.

Key responsibilities

Controlling

• Ensure the data quality by determine the internal Key controls of the Reinsurance accounting Process and Tool .
• Internal and external Audit support by providing necessary documents & Explanations

Reporting

• Manage the preparation of Reports to the various stakeholders ( EH RE Management and Board of Directors ; Allianz trade Group Finance; Allianz Re ).
• Determine and follow up of the KPI related to the Reinsurance Program.
• Analyse the Performance of the RI program.
• Explain the gap against planned / expected results.

Planning

• Coordination of the Reinsurance budget process interacting with Allianz Trade OEs, Group Finance and Support teams.
• Run the captive's budget process using the dedicated RI tool, Planning and Reforecast of the result of non-consolidated counter-parties.

Multinational Captive Reinsurance

• Coordination of the MNC Captives programs interacting with MNC teams and accounting and support teams.

Your profile

Essential

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with digital data and reporting tools,
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working in an international environment,
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience in data mining, business analysis or management reporting
• Knowledge of financial and accounting systems, preferably SAP FI
• Prior experience in (re)insurance or financial services
• We seek applicants with foundational understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and applications, eager to explore its potential in various business contexts
