Account Manager – Landscape Maintenance (BrightView Landscapes, LLC)
Location: Flexible – field‑based with regular office visits

Key Responsibilities

| Client Relationship Management | • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of landscape‑maintenance clients. • Conduct regular site walkthroughs, ensuring service quality and client expectations are met. • Resolve client concerns promptly and maintain high satisfaction and retention rates. • Drive timely contract renewals and generate referrals. |
| Growth & Ancillary Sales | • Identify and pursue enhancement (ancillary) service opportunities within existing accounts. • Develop accurate estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals for new and existing projects. • Communicate qualified leads to the Business Development team. |
| Operations Collaboration | • Partner with the Operations Manager to align service delivery with client expectations. • Schedule and attend joint site visits for quality reviews. • Support hiring, training, and coaching of field crews assigned to your portfolio. |
| Financial & Administrative Oversight | • Meet branch financial goals by maintaining healthy gross margins on base contracts and ancillary services. • Keep CRM records up‑to‑date with detailed account notes. • Monitor accounts receivable and work with the Branch Administrator to keep client data current. |
| Safety & Compliance | • Enforce BrightView safety policies on all job sites. • Ensure you (and your crew) can safely navigate uneven terrain and work up to 4‑hour site visits. |
| Leadership Support | • Assist the Branch Manager in overall branch leadership, attending relevant meetings and contributing to strategic discussions. • Perform additional duties as assigned. |
What You Bring

| Education | Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience in a customer‑focused service industry. |
| Experience | • Minimum 3 years in customer service, management, and leadership (landscaping industry preferred). • Proven track record of selling ancillary services and managing client portfolios. |
| Skills | • Strong written & verbal communication. • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team‑building abilities. • Ability to foster collaboration across operations, sales, and field crews. |
| Physical Demands | • Combination of mobile (field) and sedentary (office) work. • Comfortable walking job sites for up to 4 hours, traversing uneven ground, and traveling by car/train/plane as needed. • Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods when using office equipment. |

Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, management, and leadership, preferably in the landscaping industry or local marketplace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue opportunities to sell ancillary (enhancement) services to existing clients within the portfolio
- Develop accurate estimates and takeoffs for both new and existing clients as needed
- Deliver timely bid proposals and designs for enhancement projects
- Generate referrals from existing client base and communicate leads to Business Developer
- Build and maintain strong long-term relations with clients, focusing on all pertinent points of contact
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met
- Lead and facilitate the resolution of client concerns or issues
- Ensure timely account renewals within the assigned client portfolio
- Proactively assess and address site enhancement needs during visits
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations
- Schedule regular site visits with the Operations Manager for quality reviews and to ensure client expectations are met
- Support hiring, training, and coaching of field crews for the assigned portfolio
- Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Ensure branch financial goals are met by maintaining acceptable gross margins for both base contract work and ancillary (enhancement) services
- Assist the Branch Manager in overall leadership of the branch to include participation in all relevant meetings
- Maintain proper account documentation and notes in the CRM system
- Monitor and maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels
- Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to keep client records and contact information current
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
