Our client, a leader in cutting‑edge blockchain technology and decentralized applications, is seeking an exceptionally talented Remote Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a visionary professional based anywhere, with a strong focus on servicing clients from Uyo, Akwa Ibom, NG and beyond. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable blockchain solutions for a diverse range of enterprise clients. The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contract development, cryptography, and distributed ledger technologies, coupled with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and architecting secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain solutions tailored to client needs.
• Evaluating and recommending appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana).
• Leading the development of smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and tokenomics models.
• Collaborating closely with clients to understand their business challenges and define blockchain integration strategies.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conducting feasibility studies, technical assessments, and proof‑of‑concept projects.
• Ensuring compliance with security best practices and cryptographic principles in all designed solutions.
• Staying abreast of the latest advancements and trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Documenting technical designs, specifications, and implementation guidelines.
• Contributing to the company's intellectual property through innovation and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development with a significant focus on blockchain technology.
• Deep knowledge of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity, Vyper), and distributed ledger technologies.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise‑grade blockchain solutions.
• Familiarity with various blockchain protocols and their underlying technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
