Remote Charity Program Manager

About the Role

Our client, a reputable non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Remote Charity Program Manager to oversee and expand their community outreach programs. This is a fully remote position, offering a meaningful opportunity to make a significant impact on social causes from anywhere. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various charitable initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and objectives. Your role will involve managing program budgets, coordinating volunteers, and fostering partnerships to maximize program reach and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing program strategies, setting measurable goals, and tracking progress towards achieving those goals.
• Involved in fundraising efforts, grant writing, and reporting to donors and stakeholders on program impact.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners, beneficiaries, and volunteers.
• Evaluating program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Motivating teams and fostering collaboration through strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Supporting vital charitable work affecting communities near Makurdi, Benue, NG and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management within the non-profit or charity sector.
• Proven track record of successfully planning, implementing, and evaluating social programs.
• Strong understanding of fundraising, grant writing, and donor relations.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in volunteer recruitment, training, and management.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated passion for humanitarian causes and community development.
• Proficiency in non-profit management software and CRM systems is a plus.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
