Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Remote Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee diverse construction projects from inception to completion. This fully remote role demands a professional with a robust background in managing large-scale construction endeavors, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality specifications. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, keen attention to detail, and a proven capacity to manage multiple complex projects concurrently. You will be responsible for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, as well as managing risk and ensuring all safety protocols are rigorously followed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this virtual leadership position.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Develop detailed project plans and ensure their timely execution. Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct regular site inspections (virtually and as needed on-site) to monitor progress and quality of work. Manage project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Control project costs and ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients. Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process. Ensure efficient procurement of materials and equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management. Demonstrated success in managing complex commercial and/or residential construction projects. Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. PMP or similar construction management certification is highly desirable. Must possess a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
