Our client, a dynamic construction firm known for its innovative building solutions, is seeking a seasoned Remote Construction Project Manager to oversee projects through virtual channels. This is a fully remote, full-time position, offering the unique opportunity to manage complex construction projects from anywhere in Nigeria. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Utilizing advanced project management software and communication technologies, you will coordinate with on-site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership, strong technical knowledge of construction processes, and advanced proficiency in digital project management tools. Key Responsibilities Include: Developing detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. Overseeing all phases of the construction project lifecycle from inception to completion. Coordinating and managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers through virtual communication channels. Monitoring project progress, identifying potential delays or issues, and implementing corrective actions. Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial objectives are met. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Facilitating clear and consistent communication among all project stakeholders. Reviewing and approving project-related documentation, including permits and change orders. Conducting virtual site inspections and progress reviews. Preparing regular project status reports for senior management and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, coupled with significant experience in managing construction projects. Proven expertise in using project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and a strong understanding of construction methodologies are essential. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical for effective remote team management and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools and technologies is a must.
