Remote Financial Analyst - Banking

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with different business units. Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates. Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations from budget and forecast. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required. Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial recommendations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Streamline financial processes and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role within the banking sector. Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., VBA, Python for finance). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Experience with financial databases and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials). Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
