In this remote role, you will utilize your expertise in healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7, combined with cloud engineering practices like microservices and RESTful APIs. You'll be critical in designing scalable imaging solutions that integrate on-prem modalities with cloud platforms, ultimately supporting patient and order workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud PACS implementations from design to production validation
• Design hybrid cloud imaging architectures integrating on-prem systems
• Implement DICOM image workflows and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with PACS, RIS, and EMR teams to optimize workflows
• Monitor and validate system performance and interoperability

Requirements

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud messaging patterns
• Three years in technical healthcare IT roles preferred
• Solid understanding of DICOM standards and workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-facing experience
