Remote Healthcare Cloud/Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and lead data migration from Oracle to GCP of EPIC Clarity production healthcare data
• Host ETL operations within cloud database while simultaneously moving Clarity data to the cloud
• Overcome challenges and articulate best practices to migration operations, partnering with architects to create roadmap
• Maintain connectivity across databases and into cloud environments
• Raise thoughtful discussion around prioritization and protection of data throughout migration
• Work with clinical leadership to migrate data in timely and efficiency-based manner

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7+ years of cloud data migration experience, ideally from Oracle to GCP/Azure, as a Cloud Engineer or Data Engineer
• EPIC Clarity production data migration experience
• Extensive public cloud experience, Azure or GCP
• Legacy Oracle experience, familiar with on-premise to cloud migrations Oracle DBA background
• EPIC Clarity certifications
