Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Hospitality and Tourism Customer Success Manager to join their growing, distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be instrumental in ensuring our clients in the hospitality and tourism sectors receive exceptional value and support from our innovative platform and services. This role demands a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of hospitality and tourism clients, ensuring their successful adoption and ongoing utilization of our services. Proactively engage with clients to understand their business objectives and identify opportunities for them to maximize value. Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and training sessions (virtual) to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and escalations, providing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, support) to advocate for client needs and drive product improvements. Develop and deliver customized success plans and best practice recommendations tailored to each client's unique needs. Monitor client health and identify at-risk accounts, developing and executing retention strategies. Onboard new clients, guiding them through the setup process and ensuring a smooth transition. Contribute to the development of customer success resources, including knowledge base articles, FAQs, and training materials. Gather client feedback and insights to inform product strategy and service enhancements. Track key customer success metrics and report on client health and engagement. Qualifications: Proven experience (3+ years) in customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing role within the hospitality or tourism industry. In-depth knowledge of the challenges and opportunities within the hospitality and tourism sectors. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and customer success platforms. Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a remote environment. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable conducting virtual meetings and presentations. A passion for technology and its application in enhancing customer experiences. Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
