Remote Junior Data Analyst - Business Intelligence

Our client is a leading e-commerce platform seeking a motivated and analytically minded Junior Data Analyst to join our fully remote Business Intelligence team. You will work closely with senior analysts and various departments to gather requirements, clean and process data, perform analyses, and contribute to the development of dashboards and reports. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to business performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency. Support the development and maintenance of business intelligence dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into analytical requirements. Help in creating visualizations and presentations to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences. Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them. Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by business units. Learn and apply new data analysis techniques and tools. Contribute to the documentation of data processes and analytical methodologies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Strong understanding of basic statistical concepts and methods. Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially Python or R. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges. Previous internship experience in data analysis or a related field is advantageous.
