Remote Lead Agile Project Manager

Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Lead Agile Project Manager to guide and manage their software development projects. This is a fully remote position, requiring a strategic thinker with a proven track record in agile methodologies and team leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions, and fostering a collaborative and productive remote team environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of various agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple software development projects from initiation to completion using agile methodologies. Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure clear communication channels are maintained among project team members, stakeholders, and management. Coach and mentor project teams on agile principles and best practices. Manage project scope, budget, and timelines effectively. Collaborate with product owners to define and prioritize backlogs. Drive continuous improvement within the project teams and the overall agile process. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management. Foster a collaborative and high-performing remote team culture. Manage vendor relationships and external dependencies as needed. Ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery expectations. Resolve conflicts and remove impediments for the project team. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in agile project management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on agile methodologies. Proven experience as a Lead Project Manager or similar senior role. Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and other agile frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaboration tools. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams in a remote setting. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certification is required. PMP or Agile Project Management certification is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to motivate and guide remote teams effectively. Experience with budget management and resource planning.
