Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to spearhead the development of next-generation embedded solutions. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of embedded systems, from architectural design and hardware/software integration to testing, validation, and deployment. Architecting and designing robust, scalable, and efficient embedded systems for a variety of applications. Leading the development of firmware and low-level software for microcontrollers and embedded processors. Overseeing hardware/software co-design and integration processes. Defining and implementing rigorous testing and validation strategies for embedded systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Mentoring and guiding a team of embedded engineers, providing technical direction and fostering professional growth. Collaborating closely with product management, hardware design, and software development teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in embedded technologies, tools, and methodologies. Ensuring all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices. Managing version control, build systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for embedded projects. Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test reports. Evaluating and selecting appropriate hardware components, development tools, and operating systems. Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members. Contributing to strategic planning and technology roadmapping for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. You must have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems design and development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects. Expertise in C/C++, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and various microcontroller architectures is essential. Strong experience with embedded debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG interfaces is required. Excellent understanding of hardware-software interaction, communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet), and system-level design is crucial. Demonstrated leadership experience, exceptional problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication abilities are necessary for this role.
