Remote Lead Fintech Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based fintech solutions, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Lead the technical design and implementation of new financial products and services, from concept to production. Collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns for fintech applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines. Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, roadmaps, and technical standards. Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of deployed solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in fintech and cloud computing. Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance existing platforms and create new opportunities. Act as a key technical advisor for strategic initiatives and architectural reviews. Qualifications: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with at least 5 years focused on the fintech industry. Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex, high-availability, and distributed systems. Deep understanding of financial services workflows, regulations (e.g., KYC, AML), and payment processing systems. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with microservices architecture. Strong knowledge of various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL). Experience with API design, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proven leadership capabilities and experience mentoring technical teams. Experience with agile development methodologies. Experience in blockchain, AI/ML in finance, or digital identity solutions is a plus.
