Our client, a global leader in the energy sector, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join their remote operations team. This position is crucial for ensuring the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of extensive pipeline networks across various international locations. As a remote-first role, you will leverage cutting-edge technology and communication tools to collaborate with teams worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive pipeline integrity programs, including risk assessment, corrosion management, inspection planning, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
- Analyze inspection data, assess potential threats, and recommend appropriate repair or mitigation strategies to prevent failures and minimize environmental impact.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integrity management processes.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of pipeline materials, welding, coatings, cathodic protection, and relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, B31.8, API 1160).
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Strong grasp of NDT/NDE techniques.
- Proficiency in integrity management software.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects and managing cross-functional teams remotely.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
Requirements
