About the role
Our client is seeking a world-class Remote Principal AI Engineer specializing in Generative Models to join our advanced research and development team. Responsibilities: Lead the research, design, and development of advanced generative AI models and systems. Develop and implement novel algorithms and architectures for LLMs, diffusion models, and other generative techniques. Conduct rigorous experimentation and evaluation of generative models. Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI capabilities into new and existing products. Stay at the forefront of generative AI research and identify opportunities for innovation. Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and researchers. Contribute to the technical strategy and roadmap for AI development. Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Build and maintain robust ML pipelines for training and deploying generative models. Ensure ethical considerations and responsible AI practices are embedded in model development. Qualifications: PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field with a strong focus on generative models. Minimum of 10 years of experience in AI/ML research and development, with at least 5 years focused on generative models. Demonstrated expertise in LLMs, transformers, diffusion models, GANs, or other relevant generative techniques. Proven track record of publishing research in leading AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or journals. Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow). Experience with large-scale distributed training and deployment of AI models. Deep understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistical modeling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and algorithmic thinking skills. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and drive projects in a remote setting. Experience with MLOps and productionizing AI models is highly desirable.
