Remote Principal Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Our client, a renowned engineering consultancy, is searching for an exceptional Remote Principal Civil Engineer specializing in infrastructure projects to join their dynamic team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to leverage your expertise and contribute to impactful projects from anywhere. You will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of complex civil infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, water and wastewater systems, and public works. Your role will involve providing senior technical guidance, overseeing project teams, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices, regulatory standards, and client specifications. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, developing design concepts, preparing detailed engineering drawings and specifications, and performing structural analysis and calculations. You will also be involved in project management activities, including budget control, schedule management, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for effectively managing projects and collaborating with diverse teams. This remote role requires a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results independently. Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent registration is mandatory. A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management, with a significant focus on infrastructure development, is required.
