Our client is seeking an elite Principal Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud infrastructures and solutions for their globally distributed clients. This highly strategic role operates entirely remotely and requires a deep and broad expertise across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on scalability, security, resilience, and cost-efficiency. You will be instrumental in defining cloud strategy, architecting complex solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring best practices are adopted across the organization. This position demands exceptional technical leadership, visionary thinking, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define and maintain cloud strategy, governance, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of complex cloud migration projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, and business leaders, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud technologies and practices.
• Identify and evaluate new cloud technologies, services, and tools to enhance the company's cloud capabilities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security standards, compliance regulations, and cost management best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide technical leadership for critical cloud initiatives.
• Drive innovation in cloud solutions, exploring areas like serverless computing, containerization, AI/ML on cloud, and DevOps automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure and software development, with at least 7 years focused specifically on cloud architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficiency in related services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS, GKE, Cloud Functions, VNet, VPC).
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines is mandatory.
• Proven experience architecting and implementing large-scale, complex, and highly available cloud solutions is crucial.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead and influence technical teams in a remote setting.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are highly valued.
