Remote Program Manager, Social Impact

Our client is a reputable non-profit organization dedicated to creating positive social change, and they are seeking a passionate and experienced Remote Program Manager, Social Impact. This fully remote role is ideal for a motivated individual with a proven track record in managing community development initiatives, grant execution, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various social impact programs designed to address critical community needs. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of non-profit operations, and the ability to foster strong relationships with diverse partners and beneficiaries, all managed from your home office.

Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the end-to-end management of social impact programs, from conception to completion. Developing program strategies, objectives, and measurable outcomes aligned with the organization's mission. Managing program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and responsible stewardship of resources. Coordinating with program staff, volunteers, and external partners to ensure successful program delivery. Monitoring program progress, identifying potential risks or challenges, and implementing timely solutions. Developing and implementing effective program evaluation frameworks to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders. Preparing comprehensive program reports, including progress updates, impact assessments, and financial summaries for donors and leadership. Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, including grant writing and proposal development. Facilitating communication and collaboration among program teams and stakeholders. Ensuring all programs operate in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. Representing the organization at community events, workshops, and meetings. Mentoring and supporting program staff and volunteers. Staying informed about social issues, best practices in program management, and relevant sector trends. Championing the organization's mission and values in all program activities. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Public Administration, International Development, Social Work, Non-profit Management, or a related field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or social impact sector. Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating community-based programs. Strong understanding of grant management, fundraising, and donor relations. Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in program management software and tools. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Passion for social justice and a commitment to making a tangible difference. Experience working with vulnerable populations or in specific program areas (e.g., education, health, economic empowerment) is a plus.
