Remote Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Remote Project Manager specializing in IT Infrastructure to lead and deliver complex projects within our technology division. This fully remote role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholders effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closure of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical role for driving technological advancements and supporting our organizational growth.

Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server deployments, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, budgets, and schedules. Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and taking corrective actions as needed. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, engineering, development, and business units. Communicate project status, progress, and key updates to stakeholders, including senior management, regularly. Ensure projects adhere to company policies, standards, and best practices. Manage vendor relationships and contracts associated with project deliverables. Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews. Oversee the allocation and utilization of project resources effectively. Ensure successful project closure, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience in managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Expertise in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts, including networks, servers, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote environment. Proven ability to manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Must possess a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
