Graham Packaging is seeking a Contract Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts for both salaried and hourly roles within a manufacturing environment (preferred). This is a short-term assignment (3–6 months) through one of our staffing agency partners, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
Pay: $25–27/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
The remote Recruiter position includes: job posting, screening, scheduling, interviewing, hiring processes, as well as, outside recruiting. The remote Recruiter needs to be able to talk to candidates over the phone or in person and not be content with email. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal clients, colleagues, vendors, trade organizations, schools and other team members to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. Other duties include:
- Overseeing the recruiting process with candidates and partners serving as a friendly face of the company
- Recruits and sources qualified candidates through a variety of different sources and methods.
- Coordinates with HR partners and/or hiring managers on hiring needs
- Communicates proactively via phone, email, and text.
- Provides status updates throughout the selection process using the iCIMS ATS system
- Full-cycle recruiting - Reviewing resumes, conducting prescreens, arranging interviews and overseeing the hiring process.
- SME and partner for strategic sourcing.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience You Will Bring to the Job
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Three to five years of experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process for both hourly and salary positions
- Experience in manufacturing recruitment with at a high volume recruiting pace
- Knowledge and experience of recruitment at all levels of the business
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business and with external candidates and customers
- Strong proficiency in all area of full lifecycle recruiting including, but not limited to: sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, wage and salary trends, and relationship management required
- Experienced in all forms of current online sourcing tools, techniques and networking as well as emerging trends and resources as it relates to recruitment
- Experience working with an ATS and HRIS for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates and jobs, experience with ADP, SmartRecruiters, iCIMS and iCIMS TextRecruit a plus
- Experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
- Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
- Knowledge of structured and behavioral interviewing techniques
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, strong relationship building skills required
- Excellent attention to detail and discretion with regard to confidential information
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders
- Creative and innovative thinker with proven good judgement
- Self-starter with strong initiative, highly motivated and focused
- Courage to make difficult decisions
The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
