About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and driven Remote Senior Account Executive to spearhead enterprise sales efforts. This is a fully remote, key strategic role focused on driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing large, complex enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing tailored sales strategies, and closing significant deals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets within the enterprise segment.
- Identify, prospect, and engage C-level executives and key decision-makers within target enterprise organizations.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client business challenges, needs, and objectives.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to the specific requirements of enterprise clients.
- Negotiate complex contracts and pricing structures to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success managers, to develop winning solutions.
- Cultivate strong, trusted advisor relationships with existing enterprise clients to drive account growth and retention.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and client meetings (virtual or in-person as needed).
- Mentor and share best practices with junior sales team members.
- Continuously refine sales techniques and deepen product knowledge.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven success in enterprise-level B2B sales, with a demonstrable track record of exceeding quotas.
- Extensive experience managing long and complex sales cycles within large organizations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of solution selling methodologies and building executive-level relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and thrive in a remote work environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex client needs.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience selling into specific industry verticals is highly desirable.
- A results-oriented mindset with a high degree of motivation and resilience.
- Familiarity with technology solutions and cloud services is a significant advantage.
