About the role
Our client is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Remote Senior Account Executive specializing in technology sales to join their expanding team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value client accounts from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth through the sale of innovative technology solutions. Your primary focus will be on understanding client needs, articulating the value proposition of our client's offerings, and closing complex sales cycles.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic account plans, prospecting for new clients, conducting persuasive product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts. You will work collaboratively with pre-sales engineers and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and facilitate successful implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the technology landscape, a proven track record in consultative selling, and exceptional negotiation skills. Strong business acumen, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment are essential. You will be expected to consistently meet or exceed ambitious sales targets. This role requires a self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of working independently and proactively managing their sales pipeline.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in B2B technology sales, with a substantial portion of that experience in an account executive role. Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas and building long-term client relationships. Experience selling complex software solutions, cloud services, or IT infrastructure is highly desirable. Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sale) and CRM software proficiency (e.g., Salesforce). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
