This fully remote role is critical in managing the financial processes of our growing international digital marketing team. You will lead a small team focusing on accounts payable and receivable, billing, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial systems and a deep understanding of effective accounting practices. This role not only contributes to operational success but also fosters collaborative engagement across various teams and time zones.

Accountabilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Supervise billing and invoicing processes, collaborating with sales and client services teams.
• Manage month-end and year-end close activities, preparing necessary reconciliations.
• Support audit and compliance efforts by maintaining internal controls and providing necessary documentation.
• Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a growth-oriented culture.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience in remote team dynamics.
