• Job title: Data Engineer Senior – Big Data (H/F)
• Contract type: CDI (permanent)
• Experience required: Senior profile with confirmed Big Data expertise.
• Sector: Banking / Digitalisation & Data.

Main Objectives

• Strengthen the “Data Chapter” on engineering activities linked to a strategic, high‑impact digital transformation project.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Participate in defining the data architecture together with architects and the squad.
• Pipeline Development: Refine user stories, design and develop multi‑source collection and storage solutions (batch and real‑time) using an internal Spark‑based framework.
• Quality & Testing: Implement unit and automated tests to ensure code robustness.
• Consulting Role: Advise squads and product owners on optimal technical directions.
• CI/CD: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines applied to data workflows.

Technical Environment (Stack)

• Languages: Spark (Streaming & Batch), SQL (required); Scala, Kafka, Java, Shell (preferred).
• Big Data Framework: Hadoop Cloudera (required).
• Databases: SQL (Hive, Phoenix) and NoSQL (HBase, MongoDB).
• Methodologies: Scrum (enterprise‑wide Agile).

Required Profile / Expertise

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex Big Data environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into high‑performance technical solutions.
• Strong rigor in automating ingestion and orchestrating data flows.
• Internal consulting posture with the capacity to guide squads and product owners.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
