Our client, a renowned leader in the construction and infrastructure development sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects. This is a fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility while requiring occasional site visits as project demands dictate. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and final completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.

Responsibilities: Manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning and design to closeout. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Oversee and coordinate the work of architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure adherence to building codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting. Negotiate and administer contracts with vendors and subcontractors. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, documenting key decisions and actions. Foster strong relationships with clients, project teams, and external agencies. Utilize project management software to track progress, manage documentation, and facilitate communication. Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance. Manage change orders and resolve disputes that may arise during the project. Ensure final project completion, handover, and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and safety regulations. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6). Strong financial acumen and experience with contract negotiation and administration. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Experience working in a remote management capacity and coordinating teams across distances. Willingness to travel to project sites periodically for oversight and key meetings. Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are highly desirable.
