Our client, a forward-thinking insurance provider committed to robust digital security, is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their remote security operations team. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the company's digital assets, sensitive customer data, and network infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture. You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential breaches, implementing defensive measures, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization's security posture. This role requires a proactive mindset, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to stay ahead of emerging security trends.

Key Responsibilities: Monitor security systems and analyze security alerts to detect and respond to threats. Investigate security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and implement containment strategies. Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices. Implement and manage security controls and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions. Stay current with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies. Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security is integrated into all systems and processes. Develop and execute incident response plans. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the security architecture. Document security incidents and remediation efforts thoroughly. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in cyber security, with a significant focus on analysis and incident response. In-depth knowledge of security principles, network protocols, and common attack vectors. Hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls. Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues clearly. Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus. This position is 100% remote, requiring a strong internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
