Remote Senior Data Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Senior Data Analyst to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Nigeria. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust data models and databases. Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis. Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. Develop and present comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to stakeholders. Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights and recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and analysis. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all projects. Present findings and insights in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. 5+ years of progressive experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Expert-level proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language (Python or R). Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies is a plus. Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is desirable.
