Remote Senior Financial Analyst - Corporate Strategy

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join their esteemed Banking & Finance division. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation purposes. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including trend analysis, variance analysis, and profitability studies. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, providing thorough financial due diligence. Monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on deviations and potential risks. Assist in the strategic planning process by providing financial projections and scenario analysis. Stay abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the financial sector. Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is a strong plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, spreadsheet software (Excel), and financial databases. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment. Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is advantageous. High level of integrity and attention to detail.
