Responsibilities

• The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for protecting the company's network and systems from cyber threats.
• Key duties include developing and implementing network security strategies, configuring and managing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), VPNs, and other security technologies.
• You will conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• This role involves responding to security incidents, conducting forensic investigations, and developing incident response plans.
• You will also stay current with the latest security threats and technologies, providing recommendations for security enhancements and ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulations.

Requirements

• We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCNA Security, or CEH are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong focus on enterprise network environments, is required.
• Proven expertise in network security principles, protocols, and technologies is essential.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, endpoint security solutions, and cloud security is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for this remote role.
