This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage critical projects and programs from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple project streams, ensuring their alignment with strategic objectives, managing resources, mitigating risks, and driving successful delivery. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in managing large-scale programs, and a deep understanding of program management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and manage large-scale, cross-functional programs from initiation to completion.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional program teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Ensure clear communication and stakeholder management across all levels of the organization.
• Monitor program progress against established objectives, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement and adhere to best practices in program management (e.g., PMI, Agile).
• Facilitate program reviews and decision-making processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts associated with program initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in program management processes and methodologies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers within the program.
• Ensure alignment of program activities with the organization's strategic goals.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper approval processes are followed.
• Deliver high-quality program outcomes that meet or exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, with a significant portion focused on large-scale, complex programs.
• Proven experience managing multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives.
• Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in program management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage distributed teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Experience in (relevant industry, e.g., IT, Finance, Healthcare) is a plus.
