Remote Senior Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

Our client, a leading firm in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical civil infrastructure projects. This position is fully remote, enabling you to manage projects from anywhere in Nigeria. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing all aspects of project operations, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of project teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and performance metrics.
• Resolve project issues and conflicts promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in managing complex civil infrastructure projects.
• Professional certifications such as PMP are highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in construction methodologies, project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and contract management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, drive project success, and maintain strong client relationships in a virtual setting.
