Remote Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Development

Our client is a prominent organization focused on developing critical infrastructure projects and is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Project Manager to oversee key initiatives impacting **Asaba, Delta, NG**. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage complex projects from anywhere while driving tangible improvements in infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished track record in managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement. This role demands exceptional leadership qualities, robust analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, preferably PMP or PRINCE2 certified. You will lead diverse teams, ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, and maintain strict adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints. Experience in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is highly beneficial.

Key responsibilities include: Leading and managing the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure development projects, from initiation to closure. Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines. Coordinating and managing internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors to execute projects according to plan. Defining project success criteria and disseminating them to involved stakeholders. Managing project budgets, tracking project expenditures, and ensuring projects remain within financial constraints. Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Ensuring all project documentation is maintained and stored appropriately. Conducting regular project status meetings and providing detailed reports on project progress, risks, and issues. Implementing and adhering to best practices in project management, quality assurance, and change control. Leading and motivating project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree and PMP or equivalent certification are strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects, is required. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are paramount. Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) is necessary.
