About the role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead critical strategic initiatives within the organization. This fully remote position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader to drive complex, cross-functional projects that align with the company's long-term vision. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of these strategic projects, from initial planning and scope definition through execution, monitoring, and successful closure. Your expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation will be vital to the success of these high-impact initiatives.
Key responsibilities include defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders; developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management; and proactively managing project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies. You will lead and motivate project teams, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization. This role requires exceptional leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics and ensure alignment with strategic goals. The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for reporting project progress to executive sponsors and steering committees, providing clear and concise updates on status, key decisions, and potential roadblocks.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant focus on leading strategic initiatives in a corporate environment. PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering strategic objectives is essential. Exceptional organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are paramount.
