Remote Senior Project Manager - Technology

Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Project Manager to lead critical technology initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technology projects, from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and IT infrastructure management. You will manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, design, and QA. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential to drive projects forward and mitigate risks effectively.

Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex technology projects simultaneously. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Implement and manage agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project execution. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports. Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels within cross-functional project teams. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as required. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and team performance. Effectively manage change requests and scope adjustments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. PMP, Prince2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on technology projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software development or IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project). Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in risk management, stakeholder management, and budget control. Ability to work independently and lead effectively in a fully remote team environment. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Experience working with distributed or international teams is a plus.
