Role

Ruli is seeking a Software Engineer to join their early engineering team, where the role involves building and scaling search and ranking systems, developing AI legal workflows, and collaborating closely with product engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale search & ranking systems
• Develop next generation agentic AI legal workflow
• Work closely with product engineers to translate customer needs into features, we SHIP DAILY
• Work on AI pipelines, OCR, and RAG

Qualifications

• 0-7 years of experience
• Early stage startup or ex-founder experience is required for this role
• Proficient in Python / Typescript
• Familiarity with serverless infrastructure and LLM prompt engineering
• Previous search and ranking experience (huge plus)
• Experience with Elasticsearch / document-heavy systems and OCR/document parsing (huge plus)
