About the role
Our client, a rapidly growing recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Recruiter to join their fully remote talent acquisition team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in sourcing and attracting top-tier IT and software engineering talent across various technologies and industries. You will play a vital role in identifying, engaging, and presenting qualified candidates to our diverse client base. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the tech landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build strong pipelines in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities: Source, screen, and qualify technical candidates for a wide range of IT and software roles using various recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, niche communities). Conduct in-depth phone and video interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, cultural fit, and motivation. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings. Develop strong relationships with candidates, providing a positive and transparent candidate experience. Collaborate closely with hiring managers and clients to understand their specific technical requirements and hiring needs. Present qualified candidates to clients, including detailed candidate profiles and interview feedback. Manage the offer process, including negotiation of salary and benefits. Stay current with technology trends, industry best practices in recruitment, and market intelligence. Contribute to employer branding initiatives and talent community building. Maintain accurate candidate records and track recruitment progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to time-to-fill, source quality, and candidate satisfaction. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within a recruitment agency or in-house tech recruiting environment. Proven experience sourcing candidates for various IT roles (e.g., software engineers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity specialists). Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software. Excellent understanding of IT technologies, programming languages, and software development methodologies. Strong sourcing skills, with the ability to creatively identify passive candidates. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote setting. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
