Remote Temporary Accounting Support

About

This is a 4-6 week long contract position. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to join our finance team for a short-term assignment of 4-6 weeks. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience, be highly organized, and able to quickly adapt to existing systems and processes. This role provides support with daily accounting functions, month-end activities, and other financial reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving account discrepancies and researching variances.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.

Compensation

$24 - $28 an hour
