About the Opportunity

This role will leverage advanced, in‑depth knowledge to deliver analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives, driving portfolio and client insights. With a strong focus on strategic portfolio analysis and client‑centric solutions, the role will apply business acumen to identify and deliver actionable insights that inform targeted client strategies, business growth initiatives, and premium market positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Execution

    • Leverage SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI, and other platforms to gather, clean, and prepare data.
    • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards/reports to analyze trends and deliver actionable insights.
    • Execute deep‑dive analytics for areas within dashboards, daily results, or targets.
  • Framework Development & Data Governance

    • Design and implement frameworks for Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), KPIs, and Portfolio Limits.
    • Represent Cross Border Business in data organization and architecture to enhance portfolio analytics.
    • Act as a data owner to ensure downstream data (e.g., Core, CITADL, Axiom) meets enterprise reporting needs.
  • Portfolio Management & Reporting

    • Enhance the MIS environment for active portfolio management, including Policy Exception reporting, performance tracking, and Vintage analysis.
    • Provide reporting and statistical trends for the Line of Business, supplemented with industry/business intelligence.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy Support

    • Work closely with Management to align analytics with line‑of‑business strategy.
    • Identify performance trends and recommend initiatives to address weaknesses or leverage opportunities.
    • Support “story‑telling” to deliver insights meaningfully to stakeholders.
  • Data Integrity & Process Improvement

    • Resolve data discrepancies in business feeds by collaborating with upstream/downstream partners.
    • Analyze product enhancements and ensure data accuracy for financial/RWA reporting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant progressive analytics experience, preferably within the financial industry and/or relevant line of business
  • Strong SQL skills with experience querying databases (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server)
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data preparation techniques
  • Experience developing KPIs and dashboards to support business decision‑making
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis (e.g., regression, clustering) and data mining techniques
  • Ability to interpret trends, identify anomalies, and present insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
  • Proven collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Technology, Risk, Business Units)
  • Experience resolving data discrepancies and ensuring data quality for reporting purposes
  • Familiarity with portfolio analytics, including performance tracking and risk indicator frameworks (KRIs/KPIs)
  • Strong task management to prioritize ad‑hoc requests and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning or Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
