About the role

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to provide accurate and reliable statistical real estate market data to our V&A National Data Center valuation practice group. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing data to provide clients with valuable insights on the international, national, and local data center trends and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write national and regional market reports, as well as maintain the data center comparable data base in support of data center advisory and valuation assignments
  • Interact with and directly work with Appraisers in the preparation of advisory and valuation services
  • Assist in the development of a proprietary comparable data base for data center lease, sale, rate of return, construction costs, and return on cost
  • Assist in the quality control of data, products, and services provided by the V&A National Data Center team
  • Train and orient core business units and administrative assistants on Research products, databases, and services
  • Identify new market trends and create thought pieces in tandem with senior members of the data center team
  • Leverage the company's extensive reach and knowledge by routinely engaging with C&W's national and international research teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of research-related experience required within the real estate and/or data center industry
  • Experience synthesizing data and identifying trends within the data to provide clients
  • Writing and analytical experience required
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and collaborately on assigned projects

The compensation for this role is $72,250.00 - $85,000.00
