Role Description
This is a contract role for a Research Engineer, based on-site in Grenoble, France. The Research Engineer will be responsible for conducting advanced research in micro- and nanotechnologies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and prototype innovative solutions. Responsibilities include designing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to technological advancements in areas such as sensors, data processing, and integrated systems for applications in healthcare, energy, and telecommunications. The role requires regular collaboration with industry partners and participation in knowledge transfer initiatives to foster impactful innovation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in micro- and nanotechnologies, electronic systems, and sensor technologies
- Proficient in experimental design, data analysis, and prototyping
- Experience in collaborative research and multidisciplinary projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive innovative solutions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for reporting research findings
- Prior experience in the healthcare, telecommunications, or energy sectors is a plus
- Master’s or PhD in engineering, applied physics, or a related field
- Working knowledge of cleanroom environments and associated processes is advantageous
