Resident Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
- Update ECU software and firmware while ensuring correct versions and configurations
- Participate in client integration tests and capture ECU-related bugs (e.g., resistor-related issues)
- Support vehicle testing, system integration, and validation activities
- Monitor, track, and report issues using client systems (e.g., KPM / ticketing tools)
- Coordinate with supplier engineering teams to resolve identified issues
- Perform diagnostics and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA)
- Provide regular status updates and technical reports to client and supplier stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience with Automotive SPICE processes
- Proficiency in requirements and ticket management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jira)
- Strong teamwork skills in multi-location / distributed project environments
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at the client facility
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Driving license with experience in test drive support, including engineering tool usage and log file capture/analysis
