Resident Quality Engineer

About

We are currently recruiting a Resident Quality Engineer for a potential client located in Sandouville, France.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints from receipt through to resolution
• Analyze and identify product defects
• Assess non-conforming products directly at the customer’s facilities
• Prepare detailed quality reports
• Implement and manage activities and specifications defined in work instructions
• Develop and manage communication between the end customer and the represented company
• Negotiate and discuss complaints with the customer
• Support other company customers when necessary
• Implement and monitor containment actions according to reported issues
• Analyze claimed products, confirm failure modes, and initiate root cause analysis in accordance with specifications and technical drawings
• Participate in follow-up and close-up meetings related to complaints
• Coordinate the safe launch with the customer for new projects
• Promote the use of continuous improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and MSA
• Submit claimed samples to Project Management and the customer for analysis and awareness
• Implement boundary samples and other tools to define acceptance criteria

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Technical Course
• Advanced technical English
• Fluent French
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency and general knowledge of electronics
• Critical thinking and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Competitive mindset and business development capability

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the automotive sector
• Experience in quality management, product analysis, and complaint handling
